If it doesn’t boot from the USB disc, go into BIOS and enable the Legacy USB (or CSM not sure re your model laptop) setting, save the changes and then restart the laptop. When you have the recovery disc, insert it into the laptop and when the laptop starts change the boot option order to boot from the USB port as the 1st option and restart the laptop. Click on the Control Panel app that appears in the results.

To get to Control panel, click on the Windows search box on the left side of the Taskbar and then type Control Panel in the search box. In the host PC go to Control Panel > Recovery > Create a recovery disc and follow the prompts. You will need a 8GB USB flashdrive and 40-60 minutes of time. If you have Win 10 installed try repairing the startup using a Windows recovery USB disc.Ī recovery disc can be created from any known working Win10 PC.
