This is for MindArk's use in verifying the identity, due to the real-world money transactions that can be conducted in the game. The Entropia Universe player must also provide some personal information. The avatar must have a first, middle, and last name. Players in Entropia Universe create their personal avatar. Each planet has their own themes, such as the treasure-hunting experience in Arkadia or the MTV-like Rocktropia. Currently, there are 6 planets that can be explored in Entropia Universe: Calypso, Arkadia, Rocktropia, Next Island, Cyrene, and Toulan.
The game began with only one planet called Calypso during its initial launch in 2003. Entropia Universe is a sci-fi MMORPG set in a fictional series of planets in outer space.
